Senior Level Engineer Level 3: Nassau/Suffolk, NY & Omaha, NE

Dice is currently seeking a Senior Level Engineer to join our team and be part of a growing Managed Service Provider firm. The ideal Senior Level Engineer candidate for this position will have 2-5+ years of experience deploying and supporting small-to-medium business environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud. The Senior Level Engineer will be assisting with projects and solutions implementations as well as support as n34.

The Senior Level Engineer – MSP, must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization, and networks for small-to-medium business solutions. The Senior Level Engineer – MSP candidate will support projects supporting O365/Azure deployments, virtualizing servers via Hyper-V/VMware, Server/Desktop support, and Networking configurations (SonicWall and Cisco Meraki) support. The Senior Level Engineer – MSP, will also lead as the technical expert for all infrastructure-related outages, failures, and problems.

Senior Level Engineer – MSP Experience a requirement:

  • Troubleshooting and deploying Window server 2012-2019
  • Act as the highest point of escalation for Tier 2 and Tier 1 engineers.
  • MS Office 365 administration with domain synchronization and migrations
  • Azure deployments
  • Provide top-notch technical support in your areas of subject matter expertise (network, virtualization)
  • Active Directory and Group Policy creation
  • O365/Azure Migrations
  • Coordinating and implementing client/server applications architecture
  • VMware and/or Hyper-V experience
  • P2V migration experience
  • Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall)
  • Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, WAPs, VPNs, and other network appliances

Managed Services Level 2 IT Engineer: Omaha, NE

Dice MSP is currently seeking a Level 2 Engineer to join our team and be part of a growing Managed Service Provider firm. The ideal Level 2 Engineer candidate for this position will have at least 1 year of experience deploying and supporting small-to-medium business environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud. The Senior Level Engineer will be assisting with projects and solutions implementations as well as support.  This position is in the Omaha office.

The candidate must be able to support existing customer environments and new deployments. candidate must be proficient in implementing and maintaining all aspects of customer’s IT. The ideal candidate has some knowledge working in a managed services delivery environment and utilizing both helpdesk ticketing systems and RMM tools. This position will include supporting our external clients both remotely and onsite at the client locations, as well as supporting our internal infrastructure. Candidates must be organized and accurately document their work. The candidate should possess the ability to work with a team as well as independently.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Managed Services and/or IT Consulting
  • Experience with RMM tools.
  • Experience with backup Solutions
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Microsoft Windows Workstation & Server versions operating systems installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Availability to provide excellent customer service during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Demonstrates professionalism at all times
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Willing to travel locally
  • Must be willing to submit to background check

Salary commensurate with experience
Estimate of $40,000.00-$60,000.00/year
